PEACE!!!

Every human being is biologically identical. Even though a person may be a Christian, a Muslim, or a Hindu, there is no change in the biological properties of a person, as he just belongs to the species called “homo sapiens”. Although all human beings belong to the same species, but their beliefs differ according to their own religions. Being biologically same, one person doesn’t eat meat, while other doesn’t drink alcohol. Thus, people live in a same society, but they act according to their own beliefs, cultures, traditions, customs, etc.

Though many people think that they have been following their religion, but many are just following their traditions. Since people hardly read their religious books (scriptures), they hardly know what these scriptures actually command. The backbone of every religion is the religious books associated with it. But many of us do not know the information in our religious books at all.

As every religion talks about God and good things, it is obvious that all these religious books have many things in common. Whether Islam, Christianity, or Hinduism, every religion commands its followers many things in common. Few common things from the society are still common in the religious books, but unknown to many people. For instance, drinking of alcohol is prohibited in all religions, but people feel that it is prohibited only in Islam. Similarly, eating of pork (pig meat) is not just prohibited in Islam, but even in Christianity and Hinduism also.

In view of the common commands and beliefs in the 3 major religions of India, i.e., Hinduism, Islam and Christianity, this blog contains few common points across these religions. This ‘comparative religion points’ blog contains the references of these common points (presently 9 points) from the religious books of these three major religions.

Hinduism:
Yajur Veda: 32:3. There is NO COUNTERPART OF HIM whose glory verily is great. In the beginning rose Hiranyagarbha, etc. Let not him harm me, etc. Than whom there is no other born, etc.

Christianity:
Bible: Leviticus 26:1. Ye shall make you NO IDOLS nor graven IMAGE, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God.

Islam:
Quran: 2:163. And your God is ONE God: There is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

The points at the beginning of this post, just give the references in terms of numbers, etc, and do not give the full quotes (the details are given later in this post) from the verses. So, this way all these points have become a very small paragraph. Hence this compactness can be utilized by copying this whole paragraph in a Smart-Phone. And once done, then on, whenever there is a discussion, these points can be referred from our phone within seconds, for clarifying the whole matter and making peace. In fact, there are lot more things that can be put here, but these points should be enough to clarify the things to a certain extent.

Anyway, thanks for referring this blog. Once you are done, please suggest for any improvements, or any other additional point, etc, by clicking on the 'Comments' below this post. Prophet Muhammad's Description

(8) Prophet Muhammad's Description: Detailed Points

The picture below, contains the Sanskrit text of the Puranas which refer to prophet Muhammad.

The translation of Verses 5-27 (Sanskrit text of the Puranas, Prati Sarg Parv III: 3, 3) is presented below from the work of Dr. Vidyarthi.

“A malechha (belonging to a foreign country and speaking foreign language) spiritual teacher will appear with his companions. His name will be MAHAMAD (Muhammad). Raja (Bhoj) after giving this MAHADEV ARAB (of angelic disposition) a bath in the 'Panchgavya' and the Ganges water, (i.e. purging him of all sins) offered him the presents of his sincere devotion and showing him all reverence said, 'I make obeisance to thee.' 'O Ye! the pride of mankind, the dweller in ARABIA, Ye have collected a great force to kill the Devil and you yourself have been protected from the malechha opponents (idol worshipers, pagans).' ‘O Ye! the image of the Most Pious God the biggest Lord, I am a slave to thee, take me as one lying on thy feet.'
“The Malechhas have spoiled the well-known land of the ARABS. Arya Dharma is not to be found in that country. Before also there appeared a misguided fiend whom I had killed [note: e.g., Abraha Al-Ashram, the Abyssinian viceroy of Yemen, who attacked Mecca]; he has now again appeared being sent by a powerful enemy. To show these enemies the right path and to give them guidance the well-known MAHAMAD (Muhammad), who has been given by me the epithet of Brahma is busy in bringing the Pishachas to the right path. O Raja! You need not go to the land of the foolish Pishachas, you will be purified through my kindness even where you are. At night, he of the angelic disposition, the shrewd man, in the guise of a Pishacha said to Raja Bhoj, "O Raja! Your Arya Dharma has been made to prevail over all religions, but according to the commandments of ‘Ashwar Parmatma (God, Supreme Spirit), I shall enforce the strong creed of the meat-eaters. My follower will be a man circumcised, without a tail (on his head), keeping beard, creating a revolution, announcing call for prayer and will be eating all lawful things. He will eat all sorts of animals except swine. They will not seek purification from the holy shrubs, but will be purified through warfare. Because of their fighting the irreligious nations, they will be known as MUSALMANS (Muslims). I shall be the originator of this religion of the meat-eating nation."

The following pictures are the scanned copies of the book "Muhammad in World Scriptures, 2nd Edition" by A.H.Vidyarthi.

(Several prophecies are found in Atharva Veda: (1) XX: 21, Mantras 6, 7, and 9, (2) XX: 137, Mantras 7 through 9, and (3) X: 2, Mantras 26, 27, 29, 30, and 32. Similarly, in Rig Veda, additional prophecies are found in: (1) VII: 96, Mantras 13 through 16, and (2) I: 53, Mantras 6 and 9. Finally, a prophecy is found in Sama Veda III: 10, Mantra 1. These are a sample of many prophecies. The serious reader may want to refer to scholarly work of Dr. A.H. Vidyarthi, entitled “Muhammad in the World Scriptures,” 1990. This book explains the Hindu terminology used in the Mantras and the meaning and usage of certain words and phrases from within the Vedas and other Hindu Scriptures.)

(Not updated completely; needs explanation too, even for Kalki Avatar to be prophet Muhammad)

Bible: Deuteronomy 18:18. I will raise them up a PROPHET from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Bible: John 14:16. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you ANOTHER COMFORTER, that he may abide with you for ever;

Bible: First John 4:1-3. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that CONFESSETH that Jesus Christ is come in the FLESH is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Quran: 3:144. MUHAMMAD is no more than an apostle: many were the apostle that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to God; but God (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude.

Quran: 47:2. But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to MUHAMMAD - for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition.

Quran: 48:29. MUHAMMAD is the apostle of God; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from God and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. God has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.

Quran: 61:6. And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the apostle of God (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of an Apostle to come after me, whose name shall be AHMAD." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"
